Overview
Sirubari tour is presented as a role model of villagetourism in Nepal at an altitude of 1700 meters. This striking Gurung village ofSirubari lies in the Southwestern part of Pokhara in Syangja district. It isrelatively easy to visit through the Pokhara valley, a busy and accessibletourist center. This village won the PATA Gold Award 2001 in the heritagecategory. Visiting Sirubari village is one of the best ways to experience theGurung culture and stay with the Gurung people ( The Honey Hunters of Nepal) in their homes as their guest.You can enjoy clean and hygienic localfood with them prepared with their own rice and vegetables. The colourfulvillage is well looked after with clean toilet facilities. The stone paved foottrails found everywhere provide easy walking on this tour and you will enjoythe hospitality of these charming people. There are two small lakes nearby andyou can also watch the different species of birds, plants and other wildlife inthis region. There are small cottage industries to visit such as traditionalhandicraft & paper making and a plant nursery covering the area of 380hectares of flora including one million trees and plants.
Although you can visit Sirubari village at any season; thebest season is September to June outside of the monsoon season. Normally snowdoes not fall here. The village is a short drive followed by a short walk fromPokhara.

Day 01 : Arrival Kathmandu
Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 02 : At Kathmandu (City Tour)
Full Day Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour.
Day 03 : Kathmandu – Pokhara (7 Hrs Drive)
Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara for seven hours or fly to pokhara approx 30min . Arrive Pokhara and transfer to hotel. Evening walk in Lake side and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04 : At Pokhara (City Tour)
Full Day Pokhara Sightseeing (Devi's fall, Gupteshwore Mahadev cave, Seti River, Bindhyabasani temple, Bat cave, Mountaineering Museum and Barahi temple with one hour boating on Fewa lake)
Day 05 : Pokhara – Badkhola – Darau – Sirubari Village ( 2.5 Hrs)
Early morning cross Fewa lake and Hike up to World Peace stupa for 45 minutes and back to hotel and have breakfast. Drive to Sirubari via Badkhola, Darau. on the way Stop for lunch at Syangja Bazar and arrive Sirubari village. Welcome drink, snacks, blessings by village lama with Khada and allocation of accommodation.
Day 06 : At Sirubari Village ( Explore the Village)
Full Day Sirubari Village Excursion. Dinner with family. Evening culture program at gompa.
Day 07 : Sirubari – Pokhara (2.5 Hrs Drive)
Drive to Pokhara after Breakfast. Stop for lunch en route. Arrive Pokhara and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08 : Pokhara – Kathmandu (5.5 Hrs )
Fly or Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel and overnight at hotel.
Day 09 : Final Departure from Kathmandu.
